The Training

My training for Mount Everest has started about six months ago. The purpose of it is to increase my physical and mental stamina and strength gradually. It contains aerobic, endurance, strength and interval training. I started with three training session per week and ended up with five to six sessions per week. Towards the second part of the six-month preparation period, I also did some mountaineering training in the Alps, mostly 7-9 hour trips with moderate weight in my backpack.
